If It's Drama, It's Ego: How to Live a Life of Serenity and Still Learn, Grow and Evolve

The bottom line is this: If it’s drama, it’s ego. In other words, if we have lots of anguish, quarreling, arguing, fighting, judgment, pointing of fingers, victimization, feeling sorry for self, arrogance, oppression, chastisement, need for self-importance and rigid dogmas in our world—it all comes from and is manufactured by the ego run amok. It certainly is not heart centered living. This is just what ego loves which is why it constantly seeks to create it. Ego dines on the negative destructive energies it helps us to create with our consent. But there is another way to live and live well.

Our Hands Were Made Not Just for Creating But For Healing

Our hands were made not just for creating but healing. We instinctively know this. It’s why whenever we or someone else gets hurt we place our hands on the wound without even thinking. The warmth and strength we sense from our hands can be soothing, yes, but there is something far more spectacular going on—light from within our beings is being transmitted to the hurt or ailing spot. The light constantly pulses through our bodies and is always available to us yet we rarely use it or even realize it exists.

Why Women Make Claims About Past Abuses Later In Life

I was a child of the 60s and 70s. My mom and dad came from worlds that didn’t look a whole lot like mine. My dad never spoke about his childhood and my mother grew up in a very sheltered religious household. By virtue of her upbringing, I was, too. She didn’t have any idea of what I would face as a young woman out in the world on my own in the 70s and 80s and because of this she couldn’t even conceive there was any sort of important advice to give me. I believe this may also have happened to many other women who are making claims of past abuses many years or decades later.

The Oversoul: Beyond a Limited Understanding of the Soul

Are you like me where every once in a while you come across a book you never want to end? I say to myself, “I’ll never find another book as great as this one,” and then I either start piecing it out to make it last longer or I just surrender and devour it nearly all at once. Oh, what the heck! Just go for it! And I do, staying up until 2 a.m. But every time I finish such a book thinking there’ll never be another… another one eventually comes along. That’s how life is, thank God. And that book has come to me and it’s putting concepts, ideas, feelings and beliefs into motion for me that are beyond the ones I had just yesterday.

Why Do We Apologize When We Cry? Tears Can Be a Sign of Strength and Authenticity

Do you feel uncomfortable when someone cries? Or does your heart just go out to that person? Do you cry freely or do you hold not just the tears but the feelings back? Do you see someone who cries as weak? Most of us have been trained since we were young not to cry, especially men, or at least to keep it to a minimum, but why? What is our belief system about emotional release? Could it be that the repression of emotions leads to imbalance and sickness? Any time we repress what comes naturally, this is unhealthy. It is widely believed repressed emotion causes cancer.

Today’s Goddess Is About Way More Than Fluff and Frou Frou

When we think of the term ‘goddess,’ we might think of a woman milling, maybe even sort of gliding or floating, about in wispy gowns wearing a crown of flowers in her hair.  We may think of a goddess as having loads of confidence, being a virtual fountain of advice, quirky and unusual. There really are many women who fit that stereotype, but the meaning of goddess as much for today’s world, as for the world of ages ago, is far deeper and far more multidimensional than pictures and images suggest.

Matcha—The One Superfood You’ll Want to Consume Daily for Longevity and Vitality of Life

If there’s one food we should consume almost on a daily basis it’s matcha–a powdered form of green tea made from the entire leaf and the most potent and healthiest tea in the world. Although it’s not a magic bullet, matcha stands out above all the other superfoods for many reasons. Just Allow the Thoughts to Flow. Learn to Allow the Flow.

Meditation teachers always advise that when thoughts keep coming up while you’re in process of quieting the mind to merely allow them to pass across the mind. They say not to engage with or judge the thoughts. Just let them be until they eventually come to a stop. Most of what we think are thoughts are not actually true thoughts. They are usually no more than dredged up memories or anticipations of some future possibility—not true thought. In altered states, it can be a little easier for the mind to come to a full stop where we can richly experience the state of divine being. The first great experience with this is usually the most memorable so new and wonderful it is and there is one I have that will be lodged in my memory forever—it was so delicious.

Going Beyond the Surface Meaning of Trust: What a Divination Card Layout Showed Me

I’ve always been attracted to divination. Most of the time, I seek divine counsel in meditation and I do my best to remain connected to infinite thought throughout the course of my days, but sometimes I may use a tool depending on how I feel. Divination can be done with a dowsing rod, a pendulum, by asking for wisdom and then opening a book to a spontaneously “guided” page, by consulting cards (cartomancy) or remote viewing, to name only a few. (The Paranormal Encyclopedia lists more than 100 known forms of divination.) I have a deck of cards I love to use most when the feeling urges—Ascended Master cards by Doreen Virtue. Last night’s card reading was so interesting for me I felt to share it with you for the profound unfolding lesson it presents on TRUST.

Consciousness Makes Us Brilliant

Consciousness is like a sphere that has no bounds on how far it can expand–both inwardly and outwardly. We are all in that sphere somewhere. Where we are in that sphere tells us how conscious, awake, aware, and clear—even intelligent—we are. In fact, to become more conscious, we must clear away more ‘fog’ from our bodies, from our minds and from our auric fields. This is a continuous process because consciousness and our divine essence are infinite.

How To Express Your Own Indigenous Self in Sacred Ritual

On July 31, 2018, I wrote a blog post about a sacred moon ritual I entered into and the wonderful spontaneous experience I had diving deeper into myself. Through the years I have dipped into the sacred ritual experience now and again but since that night in July, sacred ritual has taken a more auspicious role in my life. It can be a high vibrational practice to assist you to make desired shifts in your life and to occasionally, hopefully more often than not, get more than a glimpse of your true Self.

Why are we faced with such enormous challenges on planet Earth now more than ever before? Because all of this is part of the necessary process of re-creation. Because we’ve written all of this and we are destined to restructure and transform it.

Algo Está Cambiando [Something Is Changing In Me]: A Song by Bomba Estéreo That Epitomizes the Ceilings We Go Through on the Spiritual Journey

I have a new favorite song I discovered on Pandora. It speaks to the changes I’m personally going through and the changes and transformation that regularly occurs on the spiritual journey. I’m not sure if the band and songwriter intended all this or not. Maybe I’m hearing the lyrics through my own filters. There is a crystal bowl gonged near the end of the song however (LOL) so I think I might not be too off track. The song is Algo Está Cambiando (Something Is Changing) by Bomba Estéreo (Stereo Bomb) from the Grammy nominated album Amanecer (Dawning). Here’s my translation…

We Are All Meant to Be Happy: Keys for Going from Desperately Miserable to Joyful and Glad To Be Here

As a very little girl, I was a joyful being and I remember it well so exuberant and happy I was. This is how we all enter the world–happy to be here and experience life and give back to it, but along the way social consciousness beats us down. Before long, we’ve lost a huge portion of ourselves. God doesn’t mean for us to be anything other than happy and joyful. It really is all a choice we make. Let me share with you how I turned a desperately miserable life around to one of appreciation, exhilaration, happiness and joy.

How to Be a Clear Receptive and Empowered Starseed

Starseeds are legion, but so many people here do not even know that they are starseed. Starseeds take bodies just like everyone else.
